Director J.A.Bayona reached out to Steven to help him create his next film after they worked together on Rings of Power. Steven worked closely with JA, Laura Pedro and Félix Bergés to create seamless digital matte paintings for a bunch of shots, using real location photography, some of his own and 3D environment work. The comp work essentially was 2,5 D work with projections.

Steven also had the honour to design the poster of the movie, which definitely was a bucket list thing for me. Forever grateful for the opportunity to work on this beautiful film
